Young women studying science are increasingly choosing Barnard and the College has declared 2021-2022 the Barnard Year of Science. The College is pleased to celebrate these essential fields.

“I am thrilled to see Barnard celebrating women in the sciences. The College gave me a great foundation for learning, which led me to my career as a psychologist in cancer prevention research,” Ellen said. “I donate to Barnard annually and have included the College in my will. My legacy gift will help provide more opportunities for women pursuing psychology.”
